Life Skills Assessment & Additional Support

We begin with a Life Skills Assessment to identify the specific areas where additional support is needed. This helps us tailor our care plan to your exact needs, focusing on helping you build and enhance your independent living skills.

Depending on the level of support required, additional services may include:

  • Health and safety support around the home and in the community

  • Assistance with basic literacy and numeracy (if appropriate)

  • Support with addressing anti-social behaviours or managing challenging situations

  • House rules and routines: Supporting structure and consistency in daily life

  • Fire safety awareness: Educating on the importance of fire prevention and emergency procedures

  • Financial literacy: Help with understanding bills, bank accounts, and managing finances

  • 2:1 or waking night support for clients requiring more intensive care or monitoring
